Wolf Habitat

If you visit a remote wolf habitat and see wolf babies, don't take them home, just take a photo. These animals look like large dogs and were found throughout most the US wherever there was an adequate food supply. Nowadays they can be found in Alaska, Canada, and the northern parts of Minnesota, Idaho, Washington, Montana, and Wisconsin. In the wild these animals live in dens. The entrance to a den is about 14-25 inches across. The tunnel into the den is usually about 6-14 feet long. The animals usually locate their dens in high ground areas with a water source nearby. If you visit a remote wolf habitat and see wolf babies, don't take them home, just take a photo.
