Western Hare Wallaby
Western hare wallaby can be found on conservation farms or pictures of them may be taken on Bernier and Dorre islands.
Other names of this species are Spinifex rat, Wurrup, Rufous, and some others. It is a small animal weighing up to 2 kg. It is mostly nocturnal and spends the daytime in a small burrow, which it digs for protection and shelter in hot weather.
