Vizsla Texas
A vizsla texas is something you see fairly often; pictures of this dog are pretty common in this state; there are lots of rescues which have some.
These dogs originated in Hungary, and their predecessors were used as hunting companions yet back in the 8th century. Nowadays, there are two varieties of the breed: the smooth-coated and the wire-coated. The latter was produced by crossbreeding the smooth-coated dog with the German Wire Haired Pointer in the 1930s.
