This is a light equine, and there are three basic types of gait this animal can perform: the flat-foot gait, running pace and canter. The running pace is similar to the flat-foot walk that any equine can perform, except it is at a speed of about 10-15 mph.

There is no color restriction, and any color or pattern is permissible. Palomino, brown, bay, black, red and gray are the most common varieties.
