A teddy roosevelt terrier dog is often abandoned to the rescues due to its temperament.
The breed was developed in the United States and is registered now with the RTCA and UKC. These dogs stand about 8 - 14 in./20-36 cm. at the shoulder and have a short, dense, and smooth coat. They look much like Rat Terriers and have short legs.
