Tasmanian Devil

The tasmanian devil is a different looking animal, as you can see in pictures, and protected by conservation groups. This is the world’s largest surviving carnivorous marsupial. These animals have a thickset, squat build, with a relatively large, broad head and short, thick tail. The animal’s fur is mostly or wholly black. Body size of the species varies greatly depending on the diet and habitat. Adult males are usually larger than adult females. At present, these animals are found only in Tasmania.
