As the breed was used as a fighter nowadays the dogs are very good guards and watchdogs; as well as pets. These dogs are fro the experienced breeders and requires a lot of training and exercises. On the whole this is a friendly breed though because of the behavior of irresponsible owners the breed deserved a reputation of an aggressive hound.
