It may seem a bit odd to see a Chihuahua with his own small dog bed. Little dogs cannot jump up onto beds or couches unless they have access to dog steps or ramps. Why not get them their own bed?

Even though top designers craft elegant designs that would suit royalty, the dogs still derive practical benefit from them. Make sure that the dog bed is lined with cotton or fleece because they're noticeably warmer. Washable, odor-trapping materials are a good idea.

Compare the prices, materials, and size of small dog beds, and try to find one that your breed goes for. They are usually not too expensive. If your dog has trouble walking, learn a lot about orthopedic dog beds. Some dog beds are posh, luxurious, and impart serenity. Lush, micro-velvet exteriors in various patterns are a treat to the eyes as well as the touch. Some dog beds are in the shape of giant slippers, others are velvety and smooth, and others are bright pink and have a sense of cheer and festivity. There are also fancy French, Dutch, and Asian beds that bring in a sense of culture, austerity, and foreign beauty. Dogs with hip problems and arthritis will feel better with a small dog bed.
