This breed originated in the streets of Singapore. These beautiful animals are the natural combination of the ticked coat pattern and the dark brown color. In the 1970’s these creatures were brought to the USA; in 1982 the breed was registered and in 1988 it was accepted for championship.

These animals are smaller than average shorthairs; their eyes and ears are large in proportion to the body. These creatures are slow to develop and kittens may be too small for their age.
