Siberian Tiger Population
Siberian tiger population is maintained on farms and by conservation planning.
Now these animals are endangered and that is mainly because of man. About a century ago there were about 100000 animals of this type and now the number of them fell, as many were killed because of their coat and some other reasons. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were 8 subspecies on the planet, and three of them have already become extinct. They are being killed as long as their body parts are used in Asiatic traditional medicines. There are less than 200 Amur subspecies left in the wild.

Siberian Tiger Population -
farms, conservation
The main danger for these animals is not other animals but the man himself, and there are only five species that are left on the Earth nowadays Bengal, Indochinese, South China, etc. being among them. The other three are totally extinct, they are: Bali, Caspian and Javan. Raising captive animals can be an effective way to save these unique animals. Actually, there are more animals in zoos and sanctuaries than in their natural habitat. In order to introduce captive animals to the wild successfully, it is recommended to release them into forests and supervise their movements for a while.
