Siberian Tigers are the biggest felines in the world, and they inhabit mountain woodlands of the area near the Sikhote-Alin mountain ridge of Russia, Northeast China and North Korea. They have a pale-brown coat, which is white on the belly and around the neck, and relatively sparse strip patterns. Their coat can change color according to the season, and it is usually bright red in summer and becomes paler in winter. Siberian Tigers have a thick coat that enables them to withstand severe cold. They mate in winter, so that cubs are born in spring.
