Map Siberian Tiger
On a map, siberian tiger is scarce and hunting is illegal except hunting with a camera for a photo.
There exist five subspecies of these cats now and this one lives mostly in eastern Russia where the population of the cats is not numerous either. Nowadays, thanks to the efforts of the organizations protecting wild animals, many of them have been bred in captivity. Many wild felines are killed by poachers, and their body parts and pelts are highly valued on the Asian medicine market. Statistically, we lose about 50 wild animals every year, and they are highly endangered. It takes a more elaborate legislation to create a real barrier in poachers’ way.

Map Siberian Tiger -
hunting, photo
In comparison to the year 1940 when the population of these animals was as low as 24 species it has increased to 430-500 species by 1997. These are the largest and strongest animals of all the other of this type and they can weigh about seven hundred pounds and may be 10 feet long. They feed on wild boar and deer, as well as smaller game, such as birds and hares. Deforestation forces their prey to leave the place, and suddenly, these felids have nothing to feed on. Lack of their traditional food may compel them to pick on domestic animals and even humans. This is one of the reasons why the number of attacks against humans has increased over the last several years. On a map, siberian tiger is scarce and hunting is illegal except hunting with a camera for a photo.
