Siberian Tiger Habitat

A siberian tiger habitat will usually have a cub or baby on their sanctuaries or farms. These are the largest cats that inhabit our planet and the cats discussed are the subdivision of the big cat family. This one is the largest animal of all the other types and it may weigh 400-700 pounds and their length is about 8-10 feet. These animals can be found in the Ussuri land of Russia located along the Sikhote-Alin mountain range, as well as China and Korea. Today, they are highly endangered and may be gone in less than 20 years. There are only 200 species left in the wild, and about 250 animals contained in zoos. This type is the rarest of all the other types of these cats. The coloring of the fur is reddish in the summer months, the fur is thick on the belly and the body is covered with the black stripes and the tail is white and black. These animals mate during winter, so that cubs are born by the time it gets warm. Gestation lasts 103 days, and females give birth to 3-4 cubs. Cubs are born blind and helpless, and they feed on the mother’s milk until the age of 8 weeks.
