This type of the species is the biggest and they weigh about 500 pounds. These animals are about 3-4 meters long. Like all cats these animals can see eight times better than a man at night and that’s why they are the best hunters and especially at night. In order to withstand cold weather, they must hunt almost all the time. They hunt deer, wild boar, elk, rabbit, and sometimes domestic cattle. These animals do not commit unprovoked attacks against people and do not deserve the reputation of being ferocious man-eating monsters. They can be found along the Sikhote-Alin mountain range in Russia, and are already extinct in China and Korea.
