Pictures Of A Siberian Tiger

Pictures of a siberian tiger bred on farms and zoos are different from pictures taken in the wild. These animals are good hunters and spend most of their time hunting. Their usual prey is wild cattle, wild pigs, deer and other animals. They need about 40 pounds of meat a day though sometimes they may eat more: about 100 pounds at a time. Hunting is something they cannot do without, and they have to learn to kill throughout their entire lives. Their first attempts to hunt take place at the age of 8-10 weeks, when they start to accompany their mothers on hunting trips. By age of 6 months they can kill small game. Unlike wild, captive animals live on a specially prepared diet that consists of horse meat and vitamins that are given to them daily. They may eat about 10 pounds of meat a day and they lack hunting skills. Therefore, it will be difficult for a captive animal released in its natural habitat, to compete with its wild counterparts. In order to solve this problem, captive felines should be introduced to wild life at an early age. Wild animals live 10-15 years, and captive felines can live more than 20 years. Pictures of a siberian tiger bred on farms and zoos are different from pictures taken in the wild.
