As the progress increases, the population of people raises and more land is needed there is not much left for the animals. Their body parts are widely used in Asiatic folk medicines, and their pelts are very valuable among affluent people. Amur subspecies are already gone in China and Korea, and can only be found in the Sikhote-Alin reserve, Russia.
