A scottish dog breeder has little in common with a generalized rescue; both work with animals, however.
Animals of this breed are healthy in general, but some of them are susceptible to skin problems and flea allergies, epilepsy, and some jawbone disorders. They are also prone to von Willibrand's disease- an inherited bleeding disorder.

Also called Aberdeen Terrier.
Terrier’s coat should be combed twice a week; occasional nail trimming is very important as well. The coat of these animals is rather hard and that is why terriers need professional grooming once or twice each year to stay firm and wiry. A scottish dog breeder has little in common with a generalized rescue; both work with animals, however.
