Rottweiler

It is hard to obtain rottweiler puppies at rescues. Dogs of this breed were used by the Romans for herding the cattle and guarding the camps across the Alps. In the 19th century these dogs lived mostly in the town of Rottweil and were called butcher dogs, because they drove the cattle to the market and carried the purses with money around the neck. It is hard to obtain rottweiler puppies at rescues.
