The english pointer dogs will not usually be found in rescues kennels.
This breed is powerful, graceful and aristocratic. The dogs are well-muscled with an athletic body. The dog is full of energy and go-power. It is loyal and devoted and is a true friend. Being kind and patient with children, he is a dashing gentleman.

The coat is short, sleek, and shiny and comes in primarily white, but may be liver, lemon, black or orange, either solid, patched or speckled. Tri-colored is also permitted. The nose should be of the same coloring as the marking on the coat. The english pointer dogs will not usually be found in rescues kennels.
