Russian blue catteries will usually have an available kitten.
The true origin of this breed is uncertain; it possibly descended from wild cats of the Archangel isles in Northern Russia. These cats were introduced to Europe in 1860 and were first shown in 1875. the characteristic feature of the breed is short dense coat with each hair dipped in silver.

In contrast to the coat these cats have large wide-set eyes that are bright green. The ears should be large and pointed; the body is very refined, fine-boned, long and well-muscled. The lines are clean and the carriage is graceful. Russian blue catteries will usually have an available kitten.
