Rottweiler Rescues
Rottweiler rescues keep dogs that come from a backyard kennel; responsible kennels care about the future of their pets.
This breed is described as people-oriented, but individual personalities of the dogs depend much on their owners and can vary from friendly to aloof. Being very active, these dogs need regular daily exercise. A long walk twice a day is enough for these dogs. Such strong and massive dogs need early socialization, but a puppy should not be walking in public places until it is fully immunized. The owner has to carry the pup for several months exposing it to people, sight and sounds it will encounter as an adult. Professional obedience training for 6 to 12 months is vitally important.
