Dogs of this breed are 24-27 inches at the withers; bitches are 22-25 inches. Dogs weigh from 85 to 135 pounds; bitches reach 115 pounds. The average lifespan of the breed is 8-11 years, like with all similar dogs. The accepted coat color is black with tan or rust markings.
