These dogs are from 60 to 68 cm at the shoulders and weight about 42 kg. They originated from the town of Rottweil, where butchers used these large and fierce creatures for guarding and driving the cattle to market and protecting the money. These dogs have natural guarding instincts; they are not tolerant to other dogs and should be supervised with children.
