Novice owners are not recommended to buy a puppy of this breed, because in the wrong hands such a large and powerful creature becomes potentially dangerous. One has to be experienced with dogs and feel ready to train a puppy and make it obey and respect the master. These dogs will not obey shy and timid people; they need a firm hand and a dominating owner who can devote much time to training and exercising the pet.
