These are very big and strong animals; thus the males are about 24-27 inches (61-69 cm) high and the bitches are about 22-25 inches (56-63 cm) high at the withers. The weight of the bitches is naturally smaller being about 85-115 pounds (38-52 kg) while the males weigh about 95-130 pounds (43-59 kg.)
