They are strikingly beautiful animals, due to the variety of bright hues, patterns, and combinations of them. The ground color can be orange, red, brown or gray. The ventral coloration is usually white and light orange. The hatchlings do not display the coloration, which they will display as adults. The orange pigmentation takes almost a year to manifest itself. Corn snake morphs are often seen on the breeders farm.
