The usual body length of these animals is 1.1-2 meters and the length of the tail is 60-90 cm. Males weigh from 30 to 85 kg, females are much smaller and weigh up to 45 kg. The usual lifespan in the wild is 8-10 years, but in captivity they can live longer.
