Also called Hungarian Puli.
The breed been around for more than a thousand years and is believed to have arrived in Europe with migrating Magyar tribesmen. He is a superb herding dog, being particularly adept at driving and guarding sheep. He has a long and dense corded double-coat that protects him against cold.
