Also called Perro de Presa Canario, Canary Dog, Dogo Canario.
Canary dogs have thick skin and short hair, which is very easy to groom. It is recommended to use a firm bristle brush for removing dead hair. Bathe your dog only when necessary, and use moderate amounts of shampoo in order to prevent the destruction of natural skin oils.
