Pigeon Rescue
A typical pigeon rescue doesn't have birds from reliable breeders, as they keep any chick they could not place.
Adult females of these birds are called hens, and adult males are called cocks. A newly hatched a few days old bird is called hatchling. Squab is a bird from 1-30 days old. Sometimes squabs weigh more than their parents when they are ready to live the nest.
