Silver Martin Rabbits were bred in the USA in the 1920s, and they owe their existence to Chinchilla Rabbits. Full grown rabbits can reach 8.5 pounds in weight. These rabbits are famous for their silvery coats and extraordinary markings and coloration. Colors include black, blue, sable and chocolate; guard hair around eyes, chin, mouth and under parts is silver-tipped.
