Iguanas
Big mouth with saw-like teeth, eyelids, long tails, dorsal crests, dewlaps, and clawed feet on four sprawling legs used to swim and climb trees commonly characterize different species of Iguanas. Varying in color (greens, browns, and yellows,) these natives to deserts and seas of North and South America live about 15-20 years. Mainly herbivores, Iguanas supplement their diet with insects, worms, and so forth. This popular lizard pet has fairly strict feeding and housing requirements.
