A Half-Arabian is any horse with one registered purebred Arabian parent. The other parent may be any non-Arabian horse. The exception is an Arabian-Thoroughbred, which is registered as an Anglo-Arabian horse. Each horse is unique, bringing together the traits of two separate breeds. The most prominent Arabian characteristics passed on to Half-Arabian offspring are beauty, elegance, athletic ability, endurance, enthusiasm, versatility and intelligence.
