Sheep have been used for many centuries, and they are involved both in agriculture and wool industry. There is still much uncertainty as to the origin of the domestic sheep, but many specialists are inclined toward its relationship with the mouflon. Wool industry, as it has been proven by many pieces of historic evidence, has been around for over 6,000 years, and the multitude of purposes has resulted in the appearance of around 200 breeds.
