The Lleyn sheep appeared on the Lleyn peninsula, Wales, and until recently, it was not well known in Britain. The Lleyn is predominantly a female breed, and sheep possess excellent maternal qualities. Besides, Lleyns are easy to care for and prolific, which makes them economically profitable. These sheep are very productive in all aspects, applied to the input-output scheme.
