The most common fur color for Skunks is black and white; some Skunks are brown or gray, and a few are cream-colored. All Skunks are striped, having a single stripe, two thin stripes or a series of spots and broken stripes. The most distinctive feature of these animals is their anal scent glands producing a mixture of sulfur-containing chemicals, which can be used as a defensive weapon.
