Hooved exotics feature deer, moose, elk, wildebeest, buffalo, mountain sheep, cattle, horses, camels, llamas, alpacas, muntjacs, impalas, reindeer, kudus, zebra, and similar animals. Some hooved animals are domesticated for work, for food, or for byproducts like wool while others are hunted with regulations. Some sportsmen join sporting events to acquire these beautiful and agile creatures as trophies. Generally, rocky ground provides better traction and healthier surface for their hooves for travel and, thus, is preferred.
