Crossing Desert Lynx cats (bobcat hybrids) and African Jungle Cat hybrids (with Jungle Curled ears) creates Highland Lynxes of medium size (8-15 lbs.) They are either short or longhaired and are seen in a variety of patterns and colors. Resembling bobcats with almond shaped eyes, bobtails, polydactyl tufted toes, curled ears, and longer hind legs, they possess domestic cats' amiable personalities. Very alert, active, intelligent Highland lynxes are compatible with dogs, children, and other cat breeds.
