The Weimaraner, Weimaraner Vorstehhund, Grey Ghost, and Weims are all different names for the same dog. There is a rare, longhaired variety that's not as prevalent as the shorthaired one. This dog needs lots of running, playtime, and brisk exercises to stay fit and functional. Temper the neuroses with plenty of exercise. These dogs are best for very active pet owners. Don't let them live outdoors, however. The Weimaraner tends to concentrate vividly and focus with fervor. Make sure that the dog is focused on the trick you're teaching it at the moment. Don't ever strike it. They're very intelligent and often problem solve and think critically. Pet owners mention that they're just like humans in the way they think about problems. Weimaraners need plenty of companionship and exercise.
