Spitz Dogs
Spitz dogs — Malamutes, Elkhounds, Keeshonds, Samoyeds and Huskies, Akitas, Chow Chows, Shiba Inus—classically have small, erect ears, tails carried over their backs and appear wolf-like. Environment and task - hunting, guarding, companionship, hauling, sledding, herding, and so forth produce instinctual differences. Most of them are dominant, stubborn, and smart; they learn quickly but bore easily with repetition. They need cooler temperatures and spacious high fence areas. Use firm training and intensive socialization for vocal, digging, chewing, and aggressive behaviors.
