Portuguese Watchdog

The Portuguese Watchdog is thought to have descended from large dogs from the vast region of the Tibetan Highlands. These dogs migrated and covered such an expansive area that there became many types from region to region. Throughout history, these dogs have been used to guard everything from herds to large country estates.
