The history of Danish Swedish Farm Dogs runs back to the 1700s. During the times when farming prospered in Denmark, this dog served as a mouser/ratter, herder, hunter and as a pet. With the decline of farming, the breed lost its purpose, but Danish and Swedish fanciers took efforts to retrieve the breed. Danish Swedish Farm Dogs are compact in size and loving. The Danish Swedish Farm Dog feature rose or folded ears, smooth coat and patchy color patterns.
