Non Sporting Dogs--Bichon Frise, Boston Terrier, Bulldog, Shar-pei, Dalmatian, French Bulldog, Lhasa Apso, Standard Poodle, Schipperke, and Tibetan Terrier--fulfill roles of companions or workers like therapy dogs, guard dogs, or hunter-retrievers. Often, they excel at obedience events.
