The Blue Lacy is an energetic herding dog. This breed is able to instinctively handle the meanest longhorn or the most nervous hen. It has been said they were able to do the work of five cowboys. The Blue Lacy was given its name by the "Lacy Brothers," who settled in the granite hills next to Marble Falls, Texas.
