The American Bandogge Mastiff is not a purebred dog, in the way we know the word "purebred." The "Bandogge" is a nonspecific name of any Bulldog class Mastiff breed. Their origin is of American Pit Bull Terrier and Neapolitan Mastiff. This American Bandogge Mastiff breed makes an excellent family guard dog, as it's good with people and other animals that it is socialized with, but the American Bandogge Mastiff will not tolerate intruders.
