The Silken Windhound was developed out of the desire for a small longhaired sighthound. It was developed in part with the Whippet and the Borzoi. This breed is very social with other dogs and people. It adapts to family life very quickly and loves adults and children alike. These dogs also have a strong desire to please their owner.
