Hamilton Hound

This breed was developed by crossing German hounds with the English Foxhound. The Hamilton Hound was named after the founder of Sweden's Kennel Club, Count Adolf Hamilton. Hamilton developed this breed to hunt rabbit and fox and these dogs are able to do so in all types of weather and terrain. Today, this breed has become quite popular in Great Britain, but remains rare in the rest of the world.
