The Harrier is believed to be a cross between the English Foxhound, Fox Terriers and Greyhounds. This dog was bred in England primarily to hunt hare and later for fox hunting. Harriers are used most often to hunt in packs and have an excellent sense of smell to locate game. The Harrier is popular in England but rare elsewhere in the world.
