The Catahoula Bulldog has been in existence for over 100 years. The general character of the Catahoula Bulldog is laid back yet alert when necessary. This breed can be trained for a number of uses including hunting and treeing game, guard-dogging, and watch-dogging. They enjoy being surrounded by their family and are normally tolerant of children.
