The Welsh Springer Spaniel is an ancient breed that dates back as far as 7000 B.C. Its name is not derived from its relatives, but instead its hunting style. This hunting dog is an active flushing spaniel with plenty of energy. This breed will make a wonderful family dog, as long as it's given proper exercise and attention.
